Falmer Village Conservation

Falmer is a Conservation Area and has 26 Listed Buildings. Living in a Conservation Area places some restrictions on residents. For example there are tighter controls over altering buildings or felling trees. Design and use of building materials must be sympathetic to the area. The village is outside the built up boundry and new housing is currently not allowed. Planning permission must always be applied for before housing alterations are made.
